DANNY
Danny was the son of Lisa and Dalton and was born in New Mexico. When he was just six years old he had to have his leg amputated. Here is more information about Danny and some of the other chimpanzees at Alamogordo.
On October 24, 2019, the NIH reversed their decision to move the remaining chimpanzees to Chimp Haven and 44 had to stay behind. Danny was the first of those 44 to die. He was euthanized on November 13, 2019. He was 37 years old and never had a chance to experience sanctuary. RIP Danny.
